Ahh December, my favourite time of the year, I am so happy to see you!
If you know me you will know just how much I love everything about Christmas. So waking up this morning and opening the first door on my advent calendar has put me in a fantastic mood! Seeing as you can get more or less anything inside advent calendars these days; I would love to know what calendars you all have this year, so let me know in the comments below! My calendar of choice this year is: Revolution 12 days of Christmas! and behind my first door was a lip gloss trio! I also have a Galaxy Chocolate advent calendar too!
I will start off each of my Blogmas posts with what I find inside of my calendar!
I love watching as the pretty lights and decorations gradually increase as we get closer to Christmas Day, I love the excitement of counting down the days and looking forward to exchanging presents and seeing the joy that your gifts bring to others. Christmas for me is a time for family and friends and making memories! I usually go to my Grandma’s for Christmas Day dinner with my Mum, my Dad, my little brother, and my uncles… but this year I will be spending Christmas day with Jacob and his Dad’s side of the family. It will be strange celebrating Christmas differently this year as I have always had the same routine for as long as I can remember, but I am looking forward to it! There will be more about my Christmas traditions in a future Blogmas post, so keep your eyes peeled for that!
I can’t wait to start watching Christmas movies, I know a lot of people have been watching since October; my Mum is one of them, but I have managed to steer clear from them and wait until December! So now that December has officially begun, I am going to make a list of Christmas Movies to watch (sorry Jacob!)
Another thing that I really enjoy at this time of year, is Christmas shopping! So many people hate it, but I will never understand why? I get that everywhere is busy and there is always a rushed feeling whenever you enter a store, but hunting for the right presents for your family and friends is quite fun! I love buying gifts for others and I love the warming feeling that the winter markets bring and the Christmassy smells that fill the air.
Anyway, I am going to stop blabbering on as I am likely to write all of my Blogmas ideas in this one post and then I will be stuck!
You can expect to read about the following topics and more, over the next 30 days:
- The best and worst Christmas movies
- The best and worst Christmas songs
- Christmas Cookie making
- Gingerbread decorating
- Christmas Card Day

- Stocking filler ideas
