Pumpkin Picking at Windmill Animal Farm!

Pumpkin Picking at Windmill Animal Farm!

I have never been Pumpkin Picking until yesterday (13th October 2018) at the age of 22.

Me and Jacob took a trip to Windmill Animal Farm in Burscough yesterday to feed the animals and hold the critters! When we arrived we purchased 2 bags of animal food (50p each) and headed straight to the barn to feed the goats, sheep, cows, llamas and deer! We also couldn’t resist stopping to cuddle the bunnies and the guinea pigs…

After that, we went to visit the critters… The critters are only at the farm on weekends (unless it is the school holidays then they are there all week!), so we hadn’t managed to see them on previous visits. There were snakes, bearded dragons, geckos, tarantulas, scorpions and frogs! Those of you who know me will know I am terrified of spiders… but I managed to hold a tarantula… I almost cried in the process… but I DID IT!

While we were there we took a walk around the Maise Maze and even had a go on the children’s pedal tractors (big kids at heart!) It was such a lovely day and the staff, as always, were amazing. If you live in the area I highly recommend a visit! We have been a couple of times now and we will definitely be going again in the future!

To end our day we decided to pick out a pumpkin (as I had never been pumpkin picking before!)
We headed over to the large field filled with hundreds of pumpkins, all different shapes, sizes and colours! We are very glad we brought our welly boots as the field was rather muddy!

We walked around the field in the search for the perfect pumpkin! I never thought pumpkin picking could be such fun… I definitely see why families do this every year! I really enjoyed it and we eventually found a pumpkin that we both thought was perfect!

People were walking around with wheelbarrows full of huge heavy pumpkins… and we had chosen a cute little one, so it was only appropriate to use a kiddies wheelbarrow! The pumpkin cost £3.50 (no matter what size!) and we headed home after a lovely day at the farm!

Prices: Entry Fee

Adults – £6.50
Children – £7.50 (under 1’s FREE)
Family Ticket (2 adults and 2 paying children) – £26
OAP’s and Carers – £5

*Weekday offer*
One half-price adult with each paying child!

The farm is open 7 days a week between 10am and 5pm (up until the end of November!)

To walk around the pumpkin patch was absolutely free, each pumpkin (of any size!) costs £3.50 or you could choose 3 for £10 – Wheelbarrows were provided (I highly recommend welly boots!)

No Bra Day

No Bra Day

I love that this day has fallen on a Saturday as it often falls on a day where I am at work and am unable to go braless… So this year I am whipping that bra off and letting the little ladies free! (For today anyway).

As many of you may know, this month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and today is a way of raising awareness for breast cancer.

In all honesty, I do not like being braless… I even sleep in a bra (which is bad for you, I know! But I am simply not comfy without my bra!), So today, I imagine, will be tough for me. I also get super self-conscious about going out in public without wearing a bra, and whenever we go on a night out I feel like I have to wear a bra to ‘enhance’ my assets, in order to make me look like I have more there and to make me feel more ‘womanly’…

But then I stop and think. There are young girls and women out there who have lost their breasts to Cancer. There are people out there who are being diagnosed with the horrible, life-changing disease as we speak. And here I am worrying about how my boobs will look in my new dress/top. Selfish right? Inconsiderate? I agree!

I am not saying that I am not allowed to feel self-conscious because there are others out there who have it worse… but I am saying that we should stop to think sometimes. We should try and appreciate our bodies and our lives more, especially when you never know what is around the corner.
I know that if I were to be diagnosed with breast cancer, I would be devastated and terrified, especially if I was to need a mastectomy. I think about hearing such news… and I realise that my boobs are not that bad and in fact, I kind of like them as they are!

We take things for granted without even realising it. So today, I am going braless, I plan to go out and do my shopping braless and I plan on sleeping braless tonight too. I have so much respect to women who have been diagnosed with such a horrid disease, women who fight no matter how hard it gets, women who beat cancer but have to make sacrifices along the way… I also respect the women who have lost their battles, for I know how hard they must have fought. Cancer changes lives. It changes the life of the person diagnosed, even if they beat it, their life will never be the same again… they will look at things differently. It changes the lives of friends and family, it makes them value their relationships and become a stronger unit… if the person loses their fight, cancer changes the lives of those left behind.

Today I will be donating to CoppaFeel, an amazing breast cancer charity who work hard to raise awareness of breast cancer, reminding people the importance of checking their boobs as well as having a range of helpful resources informing people of how to check their boobs, how often they should be checked and what specific things that they should look out for!

The Fall Tag!

The Fall Tag!

First of all, I want to say thank you to the lovely Ell from @BGbloggers for creating this tag and tagging me!

The Rules:

  •  Name the creator of the Tag (Ell @BGbloggers / ellduclos.blog)
  •  Thank the person who tagged you
  •  Answer the questions in a blog post
  •  Tag 5 more bloggers!

The Fall Tag Questions:

  1. What is one candle that you MUST light every Fall?
Autumn Glow by Yankee… it is such a lovely scent and always reminds me of this time of year! They have some new scents such as ‘Autumn Pearl’ which I would love to try though.
  2. When you think of Fall, what does it remind you of?
Fall reminds me of bonfires, colourful leaves and cosy sweaters! It is a very comforting season I feel.
  3. What is your all-time favourite Halloween/Fall movie?
Hmm this is a tough one… I love The Corpse Bride and I do tend to watch this around Halloween time so I am going to go with that!

  4. What Halloween costume do you have in mind?
I am going simple… The last couple of years I haven’t bought an actual Halloween costume but have put together my own! This way the clothes I buy can often be worn again. This year I have bought a black crop top with skeleton hands on the boob area… I am going to wear this with shorts, skeleton stockings and a pair of heels! I am hoping to do my make-up as a half skeleton too! I will probably do a blog post about my Halloween Weekend, so you can judge my costume then!

  5. What is your favourite Fall trend?
I have to be plain and simple again here… I love fall fashion, in the sense of thick baggy jumpers, hoodies and scarves (My love for scarves is ridiculous!) What I have noticed this year is that leopard print has become very popular! I have seen some nice pieces of leopard print clothing so I do think I will indulge in a bit of Fall Shopping!
  6. When you think of Fall, what drink comes to mind?
It has to be the Pumpkin Spiced Latte… I know I know, I am so basic! But I always hear people talking about it at this time of year and I had my very first one a couple of weeks ago and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
  7. What is your go-to Fall beauty product? A must-have staple!
I do not wear a lot of make-up at all… but in these colder months I always purchase Nivea lip balms! I feel these are much better than the likes of vaseline, they are super soft on the lips and some of the colours they do are super cute! I love the Nivea Pearl balm as it is a very subtle shade of pink and looks very natural.
If I had to pick another beauty product it would be my Rimmel ‘Wake Me Up’ foundation, it is so smooth on my skin and a small amount goes a long way!
  8. Do you prefer apple pie or pumpkin pie?
In all honesty, I do not like any… Can I have a chocolate coated apple instead? They always remind me of Fall!

  9. Do you have any Fall traditions? If so, tell us all about them!
Me and my partner always try to go to a bonfire event! We do not know where we are going this year, but I am sure we will find something! I have also never been Pumpkin picking so I would really like to do that!
  10. The moment of truth… is Fall your favourite season?
Okay so I must be strange as there is something about every season that I love! I adore Spring because of the baby animals being born and the beautiful flowers, I love Summer because of the sunny weather and family time, I love Autumn for the cosiness, the beautiful colours, Halloween and Bonfire night and I love Winter for Christmas, New Year and spending time with family and friends. So I suppose there are more plus sides to Autumn… so YES I guess Autumn is my favourite season, followed by Winter, Spring and then Summer! Which is Ideal and that is the order of the seasons 😂

Thank you again to Ell for the tag! I really enjoyed taking part!

CoppaFeel!

CoppaFeel!

This incredible charity deserves so much more credit than what they receive. They do amazing work in order to raise awareness for breast cancer, reminding people to check their boobs at least once a month and helping them to know what they need to look out for. The charity talks about the seriousness of breast cancer, but in a light-hearted way, encouraging young people to get to know their bodies in the hope that all breast cancers can be diagnosed and treated at the earliest possible stage.

I was introduced to this wonderful charity via my doctor’s surgery when a nurse encouraged me to sign up to CoppaFeel’s monthly text messaging service…

CoppaFeel send out monthly text messages to remind people to check their boobs, but in a fun kind of way! I often forget that I am signed up to this service, so when I receive my monthly reminder it makes me smile/giggle as well as reminding me to do something that is very important… checking my boobs!

Here are some of my most recent reminders:

‘STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING! Checking your boobs could save your life. And it is proper fun. Got it? START WHAT YOU WERE DOING AGAIN.’

‘DON’T CHECK YOUR BOOBS. DON’T DO IT. NO, REALLY – DON’T DO IT.
– A lesson in reverse psychology from CoppaFeel.

‘Keys?  CHECK.
Phone? CHECK.
Boobs? CHECK.
Knowing your boobs could save your life, so get to it!’

As you can see, these reminders are quirky yet at the same time, life-saving! If you would like to sign-up to their monthly text messaging service, you can do so here! (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO!) – You can also sign-up for regular emails if you prefer!

CoppaFeel runs various campaigns including #RethinkCancer, which raises awareness for all types of cancer and building up people’s knowledge as well as encouraging them to lead healthy lives.

This incredible charity relies on donations so that they can continue with their amazing work, going to schools, places of work and attending other events as well as enabling them to continue sending their monthly text messages (a £5 donation enables CoppaFeel to send 100 text messages, which could potentially save lives!)

There are many ways in which you can raise money and awareness for CoppaFeel! Take a look at their fundraising page here to find out more.

You may decide to purchase something from their online store as a way of donating! Check out their amazing items here!

Whatever you decide, just make sure to check your boobs regularly!

World Sight Day

World Sight Day

So the 11th October is World Sight Day, a day where awareness is raised in regards to blindness. This was created by The World Health Organisation and many different charities and businesses play their part in raising awareness on this day!

I have decided to share some photography with you, I feel as though those who have their sight, take it for granted (myself included!), so I wanted to take a moment and capture the world around me, to take it all in and appreciate it as there are many people who pray to see the things that we can see… from items in a shop window or  beautiful flowers and the falling leaves of autumn to the smiles of our loved ones. All of these things, that we wouldn’t usually think twice about seeing.

So take a moment, really look at the things around you, the small things and the important things, and appreciate them while you are lucky enough to do so.

I have many photographs that I would love to share! Many that people may see as being ‘nothing special’… but everything we look at on a daily basis is something special!

I will be posting an article at the end of each month which will be titled ‘My Month in Pictures’ which will show all my photographs and memories from that month, I would love to see some of your monthly memories too, so please feel free to share them with me via social media or email!

Homelessness Day

Homelessness Day

‘Not everyone who becomes homeless is entitled to be housed.’

I am just going to let that above quote sit with you for a moment…

Do people really think that some homeless people deserve to be housed over others? I understand that the government’s priority would be to house homeless families, children and pregnant women before helping others… but to say that some homeless people are simply not entitled to be housed is disgusting (in my opinion).

I want to highlight homelessness and mental health today, as today is in fact both Homelessness Day and Mental Health Day. These are both very important and sensitive topics to discuss, but that gives us more of a reason to talk about them!

The UK government says that if a person has deliberately done or failed to do something that has caused them to become homeless they will not be aided in being housed… Now I definitely do not agree with this statement. I mean, surely no one deliberately does something so that they become homeless? No one chooses to be homeless unless it is a better option than living in their current environment! For example, if a person is experiencing a traumatic time at home (maybe they are going through domestic violence, or are being abused), they may choose to live on the streets to get away from what they perceive as being a dangerous situation. It would take a lot for a person to see the streets as being a better and safer option for them, than living in a house. Therefore, I believe that these people definitely deserve help and guidance, just as much as others. People fail to realise that homelessness can happen to anyone at any time for various reasons. A lot of people look at the homeless in a negative way, as if they are ‘scum’ and that they deserve to be on the streets, despite knowing nothing about the life of those individuals.

Homeless may occur for many different reasons, such as relationship breakdowns, unemployment, poor mental health, alcohol/drug addiction, abuse, domestic violence or redundancy. These are all things that could happen to anyone. It is easy to sit in your nice warm, cosy house and think ‘that will never happen to me’… but the truth is, you never know what is going to happen.  Approximately 300,000 people in the UK alone are homeless. These figures are shocking.

Mental health problems affect 1 in 4 people… however, people who are homeless are 9 times more likely to be affected. A lot of homeless individuals do not receive help for their mental health problems, this could be for a range of different reasons; they may feel embarrassed, they may not know where to go for help, they may be scared of being judged for being homeless, they may feel as though no one cares because they are homeless… this is the impression that our government gives to homeless people. They are made to feel as though they are a problem, when they as individuals are not the issue, homelessness is the problem, not having enough affordable houses is the issue, low wages are the issue, poor mental health services are the issue… and the list could go on.

In the UK, levels of homelessness have increased significantly over the last couple of years when it should be doing the opposite. Our government needs to tackle homelessness by looking at the various causes and doing something about them where possible. Making housing more affordable, increasing wages, supporting people with mental health problems and financial issues, working on the benefits system to make it more practical, not sanctioning people for silly reasons and so on and so forth.

A charity known as Centrepoint help people who are going through various issues such as:

  • Homelessness
  • Emotional and physical abuse
  • Violence and sexual violence
  • Substance misuse
  • Mental health problems
  • Physical health conditions
  • Sleep problems
  • Housing problems

A lot of these issues overlap with one another and people need help and support in order to overcome their problems and become capable individuals again. It is important that people experiencing such problems know where they can go in order to receive that all-important support.
We need more food banks and homeless shelters as well as soup kitchens and community centres. I have spoken with people who have had experiences with being homeless and many of them said they felt safer on the streets than they did in shelters… this means that we should be doing more to make homeless shelters safe places for individuals to sleep, rest and shelter from harsh weathers. No ‘shelter’ should be seen as dangerous or scary… they should be seen as safe havens, a place where people can turn to for help and support. Maybe they should have more security, private rooms, trained staff/management, police presence?

The message here, is that homeless people are still human beings, they are no different to you or to me, they deserve support, guidance and care. They should not be seen as problems, they should not be seen as being unimportant, they should only be seen as human.

World Post Day

World Post Day

Today is World Post Day and to celebrate I sent out some surprise letters to 4 of my amazing internet friends! It was very hard to pick just 4 people to send these too, but I am sure everyone will understand that it would be impossible for me to send one to everyone at the same time!

I decorated 4 envelopes with pretty washi tape and stickers and wrote a personalised note for each receiver. On top of the little letters, I also added some small gifts…

A personalised bracelet for each person, a sticker, a Blurt Foundation self-care goal card and an Autumn quote! Now I know these are only little things and if I could have added more to them I would have! I also wish I could have sent one of these little letters to all of my amazing internet friends, but It would cost me a fortune and I would be here until 2020 writing them all!

I felt as though writing happy mail would be a nice way to show my appreciation to these lovely people as well as celebrating World Post Day! We often take receiving and sending the post for granted, and we sometimes have a whine and a moan if things do not arrive on time, or they arrive damaged etc… but just stop and think about how many letters and parcels are being posted each and every day…

Approximately 11.7 BILLION letters are posted annually (according to statistics for 2016-17) and 2.1 BILLION parcels! That is a lot of post, and we should be grateful for how quickly we are able to send and receive letters and parcels from all around the world. I know it can be frustrating when you pay for next day delivery and your item arrives a day late… but 9 out of 10 times you will be refunded if that occurs! When you stop to think about how many letters and parcels are being handled per day, it is rather incredible that things arrive in such a short space of time and we should appreciate the postmen (and women) who work hard to deliver our post to us on a daily basis, as well as appreciating those who work in the sorting offices, making sure everyone’s mail is sent to the correct places!

I love receiving mail from people, despite writing letters being ‘old fashioned’, it is nice to receive little treats in the post unexpectedly… even when you have a pen pal and are expecting a reply, you never know what day it will arrive and it is all quite fun!

I recently received my first ever pen pal letter from Scotland… It was lovely receiving a letter from someone new, getting to know them and making new connections! I posted my reply to them at the same time as these letters, so hopefully, by now it would have been received!

We should not let writing letters to people die out… figures in letters being posted have been decreasing over the years and it would be a shame to see it fizzle out! So if you have a friend or family member who you usually communicate with online or over the phone; send them a letter, include a little gift! And watch how happy and surprised they are when they receive it!

✨ UPDATE!✨

I was mentioned in a lovely tweet from Zoe after she received one of my letters this morning! It was so nice for me to see how my letter had made Zoe feel and how happy she was with the surprise!

Have you received or sent any ‘happy mail’ lately? Let us know in the comments below!

Favourite Movies of 2018 So Far

Favourite Movies of 2018 So Far

There have been many different movies that I have enjoyed this year, but  I have picked just 3 of them to discuss today!

Okay so, this is not in the order of which they were released, instead, I will be talking about my number one favourite movie first, followed by second place and third place! My favourite movie this year so far is… Christopher Robin!

Everybody loves Winnie the Pooh, right? I mean who couldn’t adore him as a character? He is fun, positive, cute, cuddly and ‘ex-pooh-berant’!  Not to mention some of the adorable little phrases that he comes out with. Which brings me to my first point about this movie… the writers have made sure to put in much-loved quotes from the original Winnie the Pooh TV series and movies. This made the movie very nostalgic for me, reminding me of my childhood as well as rekindling my love for the ‘silly old bear.’  What adds to the magic it the voice of Winnie the Pooh… is the original actor’s voice! The wonderful Jim Cummings returned to voice Pooh Bear and melted the hearts of many! I have adored Winnie the Pooh from as long as I can remember! From reading the story books to watching the movies and the TV shows, so you can imagine how excited I was about going to see Christopher Robin…

Overall Christopher Robin was a super good film, the storyline was brilliant, the characters were fabulous and I think I went through every emotion on the planet while watching it! I would highly recommend this movie to anyone, especially Disney fans (though I am sure you have all seen it already!). On top of this movie, Disney released teddy bears in the style of the animals from the film… old-fashioned, original style plush toys, and I have fallen in love with them! I would love them all… however the two I love the most are definitely Pooh Bear and Eeyore!

Okay! Enough Pooh Bear chat, onto the next movie…

It has to be Infinity War… I know a lot of people don’t enjoy superhero movies… but they are my guilty pleasure (especially if they come from Marvel!) I have followed the Marvel films for a very long time, so when it was revealed that they were building up to one huge superhero movie, I was filled with excitement! Seeing all of my favourite superheroes in one place was so intense, but definitely worth the long wait! This film was jam-packed with action from the very start as well as having aspects of humour thrown in there too. My favourite characters are Iron-Man and Spiderman… for those of you who have seen the movie will understand my utter heartbreak during that scene. I could sit here and write about the entire film, every character and all of my favourite moments, but we would be here forever and a day! So instead, all I am going to say is this…
Infinity War is an amazing movie with scenes that will make you laugh, cry, gasp, and shudder, leaving you sitting on the edge of your seat throughout! If you have never watched the Marvel movies, please do! They are all wonderful in their own unique way and definitely worth your time!

My last movie may be an unpopular pick… it is ‘I Feel Pretty’. Now this movie was relatable to me in a way, at the start the main character (played by Amy Schumer) feels ugly and feels as though no one takes her seriously and no man would ever fancy her and she goes to a fitness class to try and get in shape at the  fitness class she has a fall, hitting her head on the way down… when she comes around and sees herself, she suddenly feels more pretty and sexy, she believes she looks completely different and so her personality changes too and she becomes full of confidence! Overall, this movie is super fun and uplifting and the message it portrays is really beautiful… it does not matter what you look like if you are confident within yourself and work hard at the goals that you want to achieve… you can do anything! I feel as though this movie has become the new feel-good movie that I will turn to when I need a happiness/confidence boost!

I am looking forward to watching Venom (by the time this post is published I would have seen it!). Venom is the villain from Spiderman… Jake is super excited to go and watch it and after seeing the trailer recently, I am too! So we have booked tickets for Saturday 6th October!

I am also looking forward to Goosebumps 2, I know this is a ‘kids’ film, but I loved the first one and I am super excited to see the second. I saw the trailer today (5th October) and found myself laughing at it, so I would definitely like a cinema trip to go and see this one!

And the third movie I am looking forward to seeing this year is The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. I will definitely be re-watching the original Nutcracker before watching this one, but the new trailer looks really exciting and different! I may need a girls night for this one though as I don’t think this would interest Jake!

I would love to know what some of your favourite movies of 2018 have been so far, and what movies are you looking forward to? Let us know in the comments below!

Activities For Colder Days

Activities For Colder Days

The cold weather can often bring people down. Not being able to go outside and take part in regular activities can be a bit of a bummer… but you do not need to be outside to be having fun! There are loads of things that you can do indoors, that are just as fun and enjoyable.

A friend of mine said that they hate the cold weather because they love going for picnics with their children when the weather is nice… well have a picnic indoors? Put the fire on, lay the blanket down, set out the food, and have tea on the living room floor! The kids will love it because they can even watch TV at this picnic! It changes things up and makes tea-time interesting for all the family, children can bring their teddy bears for a picnic or they could pick a board game to play after food! I agree it is not the same as running around and playing in the park, but it is still fun and a great way to spend time together as a family.

Make new foods and explore with recipes and home cooking. This may not be something you usually do, but it can be enjoyable to try new things! Google some easy homemade soup recipes or even just bake some cakes, I find baking can be quite fun and even if the end product doesn’t turn out great, it was still a nice way to pass the time! If making your own homemade meals or desserts is really not your thing, why not order a takeaway with friends or family and put on a movie for the evening? This can be super relaxing and enjoyable, even if you are watching alone!

You could have an Autumn clean up! Turn the music up and get your clean on. It is always good to have a long therapeutic cleanup session from time to time and personally I think Autumn is the perfect time for this as you can throw out loads of old stuff and be ready for all the new things that Christmas brings! I will definitely be doing this one day soon, not only to be ready for Christmas but also so I can redecorate my bedroom!

The lovely Estelle (@Estellosaurus) suggested playing games (maybe on the PlayStation or Xbox), or do some jigsaw puzzles, read a book or have a sofa picnic! – I love how indoor picnics are a thing.

This suggestion led me to think about the smaller things that we can do on the colder days, such as board games, binge-watching TV shows, colouring books (one of my favourites!), writing, drawing, being creative! Lots of little yet fun activities that you can do to keep yourself busy! Most of these come under great self-care too!

My advice would be to try not to do the same thing day in and day out. Change is good! Doing the same thing over and over again can become boring and can, in turn, make you feel down and drained. It is nice to switch things around from time to time, do things that you would not normally do, maybe even step out of your comfort zone for the day! If you usually sit in front of the TV all day, try getting up and doing something more active or productive, such as a mini workout or doing something artistic.
You do not have to be great at drawing or making things, you can still have fun no matter what the outcome looks like…and who knows, you might make something that you are proud of!

People seem to forget that staying indoors does not necessarily have to be in your own home… you can still go out for the day and visit places that are warm and sheltered! This is great if you have children, or even if you hate being trapped inside your own home 24/7.
You could visit fun activity centres such as trampoline parks and indoor play areas, or you could go down a more educational route and visits museums or galleries… there are even some farms that have indoor animals that you can visit! You could go out for a nice pub lunch with the family, enjoy an evening of shopping at an indoor shopping centre, go for a cinema date or go bowling! There are endless indoor activities that you can you enjoy when the weather sucks, it is all about finding something that suits you!

Cold weather does not mean that you cannot enjoy yourself, plan some different activities and find different indoor places that you can visit! Tell us all about them in the comments below!

Blog Based Goals for the Rest of 2018

Blog Based Goals for the Rest of 2018

I thought I would share some of my blog based goals for the end of 2018 with you as you all play such an important part in SeeTheUniverse. As you all know, I recently revamped my blog page, losing all of my articles in the process, so my main goal at the moment is building up my posts again, working on my Mental Health Fact Files as well as trying to create new content for you all! At first, I was worried about this, as my blog views have also been reset… but over the last few weeks, I have realised that numbers are not everything! Yes, they are important, but they do no make my blog any more or less valuable to the blogging community. I think it is important to set goals as a blogger, something which I would not usually do! Goals help to keep you motivated as they give you something to work towards and something to look forward to. I tend to set social media goals rather than blog goals, so this is new to me.

Some of my goals for the end of 2018 include:

  • Building up my mental health fact files again
  • Writing more ‘Random’ posts
  • Writing more reviews
  • Having more guest posts
  • Planning for Blogmas (but doing all 31 days this year!)
  • Planning ‘It will NOT be lonely this Christmas’
  • Building up my social media pages (especially Instagram, which is at a standstill!)
  • More competitions and giveaways
  • More interaction with my posts – getting people to have their say and take part!
  • More pictures and effort in headers
  • Producing more guest posts for other bloggers and leaving more feedback on other peoples blogs!

These are just a few goals that I have, I want my blogging experience to be the best it can be and I want people to enjoy reading my content and taking part in my posts. I want to create a safe space for people to share their stories and experiences with one another and be able to support each other and build one another’s confidence.

I have been welcomed into the blogging community with open arms and I have made some incredible friends via the power of the internet, I would love to make more connections with other bloggers and writers who share similar passions with me. I would also love to be able to meet some of my amazing blogger friends in person one day!

I asked my fellow bloggers what their goals are for the rest of 2018: this is what they said

Judith Miles recently started her very own blog (www.UnicornsAndOtherAnimals.home.blog) she said: ‘I’d love to get to grips with blogging as a newbie and really get going with my blog and articles!’

I can’t wait to read Judith’s posts and watch her blog grow! Please give her a follow and show your support.
