This book is a true story of a young girl who grew up with no education, living in a violent household and it’s about her fight to get an education, overcome fear, rejection and try to re-invent herself.
It’s an amazing read as you cannot believe that in this day and age, a person can slip through the net. Tara writes really honestly and you can feel her despair as well as share her success – it’s an inspiring read.
