Verity – By Colleen Hoover – A Full Review

So, I finished Verity yesterday morning. I woke up and I read the last 45% of the book in one sitting. I was hooked!

This book contained an amazing mix of romance, mystery and thrill from start to finish. I loved the characters in this book, although my opinion on a few of them changed multiple times throughout!
I feel as though each of the main characters had an important role with a story to tell and the way in which the novel was written, made sure you got to know each and every one of them in great detail.

I have never read a book that has kept me on the edge of my seat as much as Verity did. For me, it was not a scary read, or at least not scary enough to keep me up at night, but it was chilling and mysterious and I loved every second.

There is so much that I want to say about this book, but I do not want to give away any spoilers to those who have not yet read it.
All I will say, is that this book will definitely be one that sticks with me for a very long time as I cannot stop thinking about it! The twist in this novel really took me by surprise and made me rethink the entire book, so if you enjoy a good mystery book, with twists and turns and a little bit of smut… Verity is the one for you!

The book follows author, Lowen, as she is hired to finish a book series by popular author Verity Crawford, due to her no longer being in the position to complete them herself.
This is a big opportunity for her as she is currently struggling in her career. When she accepted the offer; she was not expecting to find herself in Verity’s family home, bonding with her husband and her 5-year-old son. She was also not expecting to find an unpublished autobiography by Verity…

Soon, strange things start to happen in the family’s home and Lowen feels there are many secrets being kept among them.
As the mystery of the Crawfords beings to unfold, Lowen finds herself in a rather unsettling situation.
