Life Update!

Hi everyone!
It has been a while since I posted a little life update on here so thought now would be a nice time to do so.

We are half-way through 2023 and so much has happened for me in these last six-months… firstly, in March, me and Jake finally booked our wedding venue and date! It took us quite some time and multiple wedding fairs but it was definitely worth it in the end.
We went and signed the paperwork and pay the deposit on the 4th March and then headed straight to Hay-On-Wye, a cute little book town in Wales to celebrate my birthday… and now of course our wedding!

We had an incredible weekend in this beautiful town and on the Sunday when we came home, we went to Chester Zoo with friends which is always a treat!

Only 2 weeks after booking our venue, me and my mum went Dress Shopping! I was not expecting to find a dress so quickly but I did… I said ‘YES’ to THE dress and I cried like a baby! It was such a beautiful moment and it was even more special that I was able to share it with just me and my mum.

Now we are well and truly counting down the days until we say ‘I Do’ and I could not be more excited if I tried!

We recently picked our wedding tribe which consists of:
– Two Maid of Honours
– One Bridesmaid
– One Best Man
– Two Groomsmen
– A Ring Bearer
– Two Flower Girls

We are beyond lucky to have such incredible people surrounding us on our big day, we just know that they will make is extra special!

In between all of the wedding planning we have also had lots of fun at events and little getaways!
We went to see Russell Howard which was absolutely brilliant, I laughed so much and we spoke about it for days after!

Me and Jake also took a week away in Consett where we stayed in a nice cosy lodge in the middle of nowhere, with an incredible view, a hot tub, lots of lovely nearby towns and incredible weather!

When we got home, we immediately headed to Manchester to see Arctic Monkeys with Gemma, Evan, Beth and Ollie which was a really amazing show!

Next weekend we are heading to see Jimmy Carr in Liverpool and spending the night at James Street Hotel, which I am both excited for and also nervous about as we are so close to the front… meaning we are easy targets!

Our next adventure after that will be to the Azores for a friends wedding, where we will be staying for 4 nights! I am looking forward to seeing the island, it looks so picturesque online. It will also be amazing to see their family again and spend some time with them!

It is certainly a busy year for us and I am sure the next couple of years will be the same as we have so many plans ahead of us… but as always, I will keep you updated as I go along!

Have Hope Always,

Aimee xo
