This is the first book that I have read by Paige Toon and I will most definitely be reading more of her books in future… I am honoured to have been sent an ARC of her upcoming novel What If I Never Get Over You which is coming out in April 2025 – So be on the look out for a review of this too!

I read this whilst on a short trip to Malta. I had been in a bit of a reading slump but this book well and truly dragged me out of it! It is such a heartwarming romance and I enjoyed every second… even though it made me cry on the plane!
The Storyline
Based on the Cornish Coastline, this beautiful romance story begins with Liv and Finn, who meet whilst working in a local bar… but when a night of passion comes to an abrupt, traumatic end, the two are bound together inexplicably.
While Finn heads off for a life in LA with his band, Liv’s life remains in Cornwall with her friends and family, so the two of them make a vow…
Finn will return to Cornwall every year, and if the two of them are still single, they will spend the summer together for old times sake.
But this summer is different…
Liv crosses paths with the mysterious new guy in town, Tom. The more time that they spend together, the more they can feel themselves falling for one another and Liv slowly starts to envision a life where she does not have to deal with heartbreak after heartbreak every summer.
But Tom has secrets… what really brings him to Cornwall… Can Liv find it in her heart to trust him and forget about Finn?
I found myself routing for both of the male characters in this novel for differnet reasons… whose team are you on?
