I love spooky season and could not wait to do some cute autumn activities with friends, so it was only right that we booked tickets to our local farm and pumpkin patch!
I won’t lie, we were not impressed with the cost of this trip this year and we will definitely be looking elsewhere next year!
We were lucky with the weather again this year, with the sun shining. So we were able to enjoy an ice-cream and a walk around the farm before heading to the pumpkin patch to choose our pumpkins!
We are not planning on carving pumpkins this year, instead we picked some just to place on our front door step with some of our other Halloween decorations! Jake picked a green pumpkin and I picked a yellow one (it was so bright and different!)… I also chose a small white pumpkin as I do every year.
The farm did have some really good pumpkins to choose from, lots of different shapes, sizes and colours! We just felt as though the cost was so much higher than previous years.
Entry to the farm is £15.00 per person – which we felt was a bit much for adults considering they cannot take part in most of the activities (parks, play areas, bikes and cars)
It was £20.00 each for entry to the farm and one pumpkin from the patch.
We think we will try a cheaper, small business pumpkin patch next year!
